MAC Trail Washington Park Volunteer Event

Join Portland Parks & Recreation for a volunteer event on the MAC Trail in Washington Park!
9:00 am 11:00 am

Washington Park provides recreation opportunities for all visitors and the MAC Trail runs through the park providing hikers access to the park's many amenities and activities. This event will focus on the vegetation along the MAC Trail near the Amphitheater and International Rose Test Garden. 

We will spend the morning removing disruptive plants, hand-weeding, and other basic land care tasks. Volunteers of all skills and abilities are welcome. No previous experience is required, PP&R will provide training, tools, gloves, and parking passes.

Meeting Location 

We will meet on the grass area next to the restroom building at the Oregon Holocaust Memorial. 

Nearby Bus Stops

TriMet Bus Line 20 stop is located on W Burnside at the Stearns Canyon Entrance. TriMet Bus Line 63 has multiple stops located within Washington Park.
