Youth Conservation Crew Member

Description: Summer job opportunity for teens interested in outdoor work and protecting the environment.

Eligibility: Age 14 - 18


Youth Conservation Crew Leader

Description: Mentor and supervise teenagers as they complete important work in natural areas and gain job skills.

Eligibility: Adult driver's license


Teen Nature Team (TNT) - Adult Crew Leader

Description: Mentor and supervise teenagers as they complete important work in natural areas and gain job skills.

Nature Day Camp - Educators and Coordinators

Description: Naturalists spend 7 hours each day co-leading small groups of campers (age 4-12). Experience working with children, a love and curiosity about nature, and high sense of safety and responsibility.

Eligibility: Age 16+


Field Trips and Ladybug Walks - Nature Educator

Description: Part-time, school-year employment working with our Field Trip team. Requires experience in Environmental Education group facilitation, knowledge of local ecology, child management skills, and administrative skills.

Status: All positions filled for the 2019-2020 school year.

Eligibility: Age 21+


Volunteer Programs

Teen Nature Team (TNT)

Description: Teen Nature Team is a free year-round program that connects teens to nature, healthy outdoor adventure, environmental science, stewardship and life and job skills. We partner with Ninth Grade Transition (All Hands Raised) so that TNT participants get high school credit for completing the program.

Status: All positions filled for the 2019-2020 school year.

Eligibility: Grades 6-8

Nature Day Camp - Jr Naturalist program

Description: Volunteer with the Nature Day Camp program. Jr Naturalists spend two weeks with a small ground of campers (ages 4-11). As a Jr Naturalist, you might be asked to do some or all of the following:

  • play and lead games
  • sing songs and tell or read stories
  • hang out with campers
  • organize and help with crafts
  • be curious and explore nature with campers

Eligibility: Ages 13-17
