Pre-seizure notices for abandoned and derelict vessels

Vessels that are left on city docks or ramps and that are in violation of park rules, city code, or Oregon law may be cited, towed, and impounded. Pursuant to rules set forth by the Oregon State Marine Board, PP&R Park Rangers are considered an enforcement agency for the purposes of removing and impounding abandoned or derelict vessels on PP&R managed property. Policy requires that vessels posted for removal be listed on our agency website.

If you are the owner of a vessel listed below, please remove your vessel immediately to avoid further enforcement action. You may appeal the decision to impound your vessel before the tow date by contacting the Hearing's Office. After the vessel has been seized/towed, an appeal must be received within 30 calendar days from the date of tow. The owner of the boat is liable for all costs associated with removal. For more information on abandoned or derelict vessels on state waterways, please visit the Oregon State Marine Board.
