Project Overview
The District 3 Restroom Renovations project includes roof replacement, painting, and accessibility upgrades for ten restroom buildings across District 3 parks. These facilities were identified as the highest priority on the Parks major maintenance backlog. The core scope of work at each restroom includes:
- New roof
- Painting (interior and exterior)
- New ADA-accessible doors and door frames (where needed)
As funding allows, additional interior improvements will be made to help meet ADA Title II requirements. Funding for this project was provided through year-end budget allocations from District 3 Councilors Morillo and Novick.

What you can Expect
Roofing work starts in late October 2025 and will be completed by early December 2025.
Restrooms will be closed during renovations. Work and closures will occur in phases, with signage posted onsite to provide notifications. We will do our best to keep closures as short as possible. Thank you for your patience!
