Making Multnomah Arts Center More Accessible

Multnomah Arts Center (MAC) just received some accessibility upgrades. Crews recently completed a new ADA-compliant ramp for the Ceramics Cottage and are working on another one for the Metals Cottage.

These improvements will make it easier for people using wheelchairs or other mobility devices to access the buildings. The project also includes automatic door openers.

This work is part of Portland Parks & Recreation’s ongoing effort to remove physical barriers at park sites across the city.
