Circuit training is a form of body conditioning that includes endurance training, high-intensity aerobics, and resistance training performed in a circuit with short rest breaks between each exercise.

HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)
This class combines high-intensity cardio and strength intervals to build your cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength. The short bursts of activity will get your heart rate up and keep boredom at bay. You’ll wonder where the time went! We’ll finish the class with some floor abdominal work and a relaxing stretch to increase mobility

Kettlebell

Dance to Remember
Dance to Remember invites us to return to our bodies in the midst of the stress and overwhelm of daily life. Our bodies carry wisdom, pain, joy, grief, rage, beauty & so much more. Each class offers an opportunity to move through these feelings, sweat it out, release, ground, and connect. You'll be guided through a gentle warm‐up, move across the floor, and expand into bigger movements, letting your body lead the way. No dance experience is needed. All ages (14+) & abilities are welcome.

ZUMBA®
A high-energy combination of Latin, Reggae, and Salsa dance steps. Routines combine fast and slow rhythms to achieve a balance of cardio & muscle-toning benefits. Join our certified Zumba instructors; no previous dance experience necessary!

ZUMBA® Toning
Get in a high-energy, body-sculpting workout all while having fun! Zumba Toning™ combines the dance party elements of a typical Zumba class with the use of light (1 to 2.5 lb) weights or toning sticks to build definition and strength. It targets the abs, thighs, arms, and other muscles throughout the body.

MIND/BODY

Chen Style Tai Chi

Hatha Vinyasa Yoga 2

I feel so lucky to see all the progress my students and clients make through their perseverance and commitment to their goals. Altough I endeavor to bring my clients to a place where they feel capable and powerful. I still think that there is always a place for some fun and a little silliness in your workouts."

History

The center was first constructed in 1927 as a wood-frame bathhouse for the pre-existing outdoor pool. In 1949, a concrete building was constructed, and the dressing rooms in the original building were renovated. The gymnasium and roller-skating rink in the basement were constructed in 1953-1954. The auditorium was constructed sometime between 1949 and 1953. As a result of the 1994 bond measure, an indoor aquatic center was added to the facility in 2000. The outdoor pool was filled in and turned into a parking lot.
