Portland Gun Violence Assessment/Cost of Violence Report

From April 2019 through June 2020 the City of Portland through the Office of Violence Prevention has consulted with the California Partnership for Safe Communities (CPSC) http://thecapartnership.org and the National Institute for Criminal Justice Reform (NICJR) https://nicjr.org to analyze Portland’s gun violence problem, assess Portland’s current gun violence reduction efforts, and provide recommendations for next steps specific to Portland.
