Nike Greene (She/Her)

Director

Nike was born and raised in Portland. She is a proud alumnus of Roosevelt High School. 

Nike is a graduate of George Fox University with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is currently a Licensed Marriage & Family therapist, and Ministers alongside of her husband Pastor Herman Greene at Abundant Life PDX Church in North Portland.

Nike loves how living in Portland gives her a close proximity to nature and beautiful landscapes, from backyard gardens and water fountains to local parks, beaches, snowcapped mountains, and waterfalls. Portland has it all! 
 

Mustafa Washington (He/Him)

Program Manager

Mustafa was born and raised in Portland. He is a proud alumnus of Benson Polytechnic High School. 

Mustafa received his B.S in Business and M.S in Management and Organizational Leadership from Warner Pacific University. 

Mustafa loves how Portland is home to so many beautiful parks. A couple parks he likes to visit with his family are Dawson, Irving, Alberta, and Kenton Parks which are all located in North Portland. 
 

Sierra Ellis (She/Her)

Operations Manager

Sierra moved to the Pacific Northwest 11 years ago from the Mid West where she was born and raised. She is raising two kids in the Portland Metropolitan area with her husband. 

With an environmental education background in science  she has found her passion in public service and serving the community. She is set out to make Portland a more vibrant, safer place to live, work, and play. 
 

Herico Aiten (She/Her)

Community Engagement Specialist

Herico was born on the Island of Saipan, but her family comes from the Islands of Chuuk in the Federated States of Micronesia. Her family migrated to Oregon when she was a baby and since then, Portland has been her home. 

Herico graduated from Reynolds High School. She is also a first - generation college graduate from Portland State University where she received her B.S in Social Science. 

Herico loves how Oregon is filled with so many hidden gems. From beautiful scenic hikes to pop up food carts. She loves to grab a coffee from Dutch Bros and watch the view at the Vista House. 
 

Ashley Hernandez (She/Her) 

Administrative & Communications Specialist 

Ashley.hernandez@portlandoregon.gov

Ashley was born in Miami, Florida and has been living in Oregon for over 11 years. Her family is originally from Venezuela, which allowed her to learn Spanish as her mother language. She considers both Venezuela and Oregon her home.

She graduated from Portland State University with two B.S degrees: Health Science, and Health Service Administrations. Through her time at PSU she discovered her passion for public health and desire to work with underrepresented communities to decrease social disparities.

Ashley enjoys Portland’s beautiful green spaces and views, especially during summertime. She loves finding new restaurants in the city and supporting local businesses.
