The City of Portland has issued an RFQ (Request for Qualifications) for consultants who can help us design and manage a comprehensive, community-centered cultural planning process over the next two years. Individuals, firms, or teams with experience leading communities through the cultural planning process are invited to respond by February 17.

The City is also seeking proposals from individuals, firms, or teams who can help us analyze the City’s Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center and determine the feasibility of revitalizing and reimagining this facility as a thriving Center for Black Arts & Culture in Portland. Respond to this RFP (Request for Proposals) by March 3.

Later this month, the City will publish an RFP for a consultant who can lead a robust community engagement effort to help City Council make decisions about certain monuments and memorials, and to recommend new public policies and procedures for assessing monuments and memorials in the future.

You can learn more about these opportunities and apply through the City’s vendor portal at https://procure.portlandoregon.gov/bso/, or contact cityartsprogram@portlandoregon.gov.
