The Clean & Safe District is one of three enhanced service districts in Portland, where property owners fund enhanced services such as trash cleanup, graffiti removal and business development.
The Clean & Safe District was established in 1994. It currently has 426 ratepayers. The district’s next sunset renewal will occur prior to September 30, 2031 and its current contract with Clean & Safe is set to expire on September 30, 2026. The Clean & Safe District is managed in partnership with Clean & Safe.
