May 13, 2026, 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. 

The Community Board for Police Accountability (CBPA) is the independent governing body that, with support from the Office of Community-based Police Accountability (OCPA), makes up the City's newly established Oversight System.

The CBPA is composed entirely of volunteers, appointed by City Council, who have completed rigorous background checks and comprehensive training in preparation for this important responsibility.

In accordance with Portland City Code and state law, the CBPA conducts hybrid public meetings, allowing board members to participate fully either in person or online via video or teleconference. Members of the public are welcome to attend in person, while online participation is limited to ensure a safe and constructive environment.

When testifying during the meeting, state your name for the record. If you are a lobbyist appearing on behalf of a lobbying entity, you must also declare which lobbying entity you are authorized to represent in your testimony. (The City's lobbying regulations can be found in City Code Chapter 2.12.)

Each person will have 3 minutes, unless otherwise stated by the facilitator.
