Important Deadline for Tax Credits on Solar Energy Systems Purchased on or Before Dec. 31, 2017
The Oregon Department of Energy provides residential homeowners with up to a $6,000 tax credit for their 2017 taxes (with credit taken over four years) for the installation of solar energy systems. In order to qualify for this tax credit, individual projects need to have installation completed.
