More than 500 small businesses received credits through the Small Business Program for Utility Relief (SPUR), from the City of Portland’s utility bureaus, Water and Environmental Services. To develop the program utility bureaus partnered with Prosper Portland, the city’s economic development agency.

Environmental Services reminds the public to only flush the 3Ps – toilet paper, pee, and poo. Any other material – such as cleaning wipes, “flushable” wipes, and paper towels – can cause clogs and sewer overflows that further impact public health and our environment.
