A smoother street is coming to NE Fremont Street from NE 38th to 21st avenues

Paving work begins Monday, Aug. 16 on NE Fremont Street from NE 38th to 21st avenues, as part of the Portland Bureau of Transportation’s (PBOT) ongoing maintenance paving work. The street repairs will continue through the month of September, each weekday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and possibly weekends.

DEQ Diesel Emissions Mitigation Grant Applications Open Through 8/31/21

DEQ grant funds to support compliance with Clean Air Construction are now available. Applications are open through 8/31/20. DEQ has $8 million to award and grants can cover up to 100% of retrofits, 40% of repower and 25% of replacement. The City provides free fleet assessments to qualifying firms.
