PHB's Metro Bond + TIF Opportunity Solicitation (M-BOS) for Affordable Housing Projects

The Portland Housing Bureau (PHB) has released a Metro Bond + TIF Opportunity Solicitation to provide up to $39.8 million in capital funding from the Metro Regional Housing Bond and Tax Increment Financing from the Interstate Corridor Urban Renewal Area (ICURA) for affordable housing development.

News Release: Construction begins next week on the SW Broadway Bike Improvements project, interim improvements on SW Main Street 

The project will complete a comfortable, safe southbound bicycle connection from the Broadway Bridge to I-405. 
Construction will continue through September and include intermittent lane closures, parking restrictions and traffic delays.

CANCELLED Advisory: Environmental Services responding to sewage seeping along ground to Willamette River in Dunthorpe neighborhood

This incident is resolved. Environmental Services’ investigation determined that no sewage release occurred. The one-time test that showed a high bacteria level was due to bacteria in the environment, likely from birds, dogs, racoons, or other sources.

SW Capitol Highway to close to through traffic throughout April from SW Taylors Ferry Road to SW Garden Home Road for stormwater pipe installation

The closure will be in place from Monday through Thursday each week from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from March 28 to the end of April as part of the SW Capitol Highway: Multnomah Village - West Portland project.

Three New Portland Housing Bond Projects Selected: Projected to Exceed Goals by 43 Percent

The Portland Housing Bureau has awarded funding to three new projects with the remaining funds from Portland’s Housing Bond. The new projects bring the projected total affordable homes produced through the city’s first housing bond to 1,859—housing for an estimated 3,834 people.
