PHB's Metro Bond + TIF Opportunity Solicitation (M-BOS) for Affordable Housing Projects
The Portland Housing Bureau (PHB) has released a Metro Bond + TIF Opportunity Solicitation to provide up to $39.8 million in capital funding from the Metro Regional Housing Bond and Tax Increment Financing from the Interstate Corridor Urban Renewal Area (ICURA) for affordable housing development.

Event parking district starts with higher parking meter rates on Friday, to encourage public transit, biking during large events in Lloyd District, Rose Quarter areas
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT), in partnership with Lloyd area businesses and residents, will begin implementing new rates for on-street parking during large-scale events to encourage public transit and biking, and reduce congestion and pollution in the area.

The Blumenauer Bridge is open to the public
On July 31, PBOT officially opened the Congressman Blumenauer Bicycle & Pedestrian Bridge! Crossing I-84 and connecting the Lloyd and Central Eastside districts, the new bridge is already benefiting businesses, commuters, and residents in the area. It also acts as a link in the Green Loop.

Three New Portland Housing Bond Projects Selected: Projected to Exceed Goals by 43 Percent
The Portland Housing Bureau has awarded funding to three new projects with the remaining funds from Portland’s Housing Bond. The new projects bring the projected total affordable homes produced through the city’s first housing bond to 1,859—housing for an estimated 3,834 people.
