The water remains safe to drink. The Portland Water Bureau operates a resilient water system, with two excellent supplies of water. Because of heavy rain in the Bull Run Watershed, we have switched to using our groundwater system.

Street and rail repairs on NW 9th Avenue at Naito Parkway continue through Friday, Nov. 19

City of Portland establishes COVID-19 vaccination requirement for vendors, consultants, contractors, volunteers and grantees

Effective January 3, 2022 the City of Portland will require all its vendors, consultants, contractors, volunteers and grantees who perform in-person work for the city to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Those who do not meet the requirement could be denied access to city facilities to perform work.

Portland Street Response Night Shift Launches Nov 4; PSR Offers Increased Hours, Expanded Boundaries

On Nov 4, Portland Street Response’s second shift will start taking calls and offers expanded service from 6 pm – 2:30 am Thursday through Sunday. PSR’s existing day shift has changed its hours to 9 am to 5 pm Monday – Thursday. Both shifts will respond in a new expanded boundary.
