Buckman

Buckman, the first eastside neighborhood of Portland, is bounded by SE 28th, Hawthorne Blvd., East Burnside Street and on the west, the Willamette River. “East” Buckman (east of 12th Avenue) is residential and "West" industrial.

Construction and Maintenance

Spring 2017
Construction scheduled for 2023-2024
This work will be completed in two phases. Construction on Phase I began June 2022 and was completed in December 2022. Construction on Phase II is expected to begin late spring 2024 and take about six months to complete.
Construction is underway and is anticipated to be complete in early 2026.
