In the heart of Central North East, Rose City Park was platted in 1907, the year of the first Portland Rose Festival. In addition to its eponymous park, other parks in the neighborhood include Normandale Park, Frazer Park, and the western part of Rose City Golf Course whose clubhouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
This is a no-drop, easy-pace loop ride perfect for folks new to the bike or just getting back on their wheels. About 9 miles long, round trip, mostly along the 70's and 80's Neighborhood Greenways.
Rose City Park Neighborhood Association Board meets on the 1st Tuesday of months when there is no General Membership meeting; January, March, April, June, July, October, November and December. No meeting in August.
