Pearl District

The Pearl is a young neighborhood, its most recent incarnation established in the early 1990s. Its modern persona is heavily influenced by the tenets of New Urbanism, which prizes mixed-use, walkability, diversity, human scale and conservation.

Construction and Maintenance

Spring 2019
The overall project is still in the early investigation and evaluation phases. Engineering design work will begin in 2022 and will potentially be completed in the spring of 2024. Construction will begin sometime after the end of design.
This project is in the early design phases. Construction is not expected to begin until 2023 and will take about a year to complete.

PBOT crews reopen NW Everett Street a week early, after making sinkhole repairs with help from a local business

Crews from the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) reopened NW Everett Street between 11th and 12th avenues this morning, more than a week earlier than expected.
