The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability is hosting neighborhood events around the city where people who live in the area can get rid of large, bulky trash items.

Meeting Time and Location
General Meetings Old Town Community Association holds combined Board and General meetings on the 1st Wednesday of the month, 11:30 am -1:30 pm. The first hour is the general meeting and the second hour is the board meeting. Meetings are open to the public. Everyone is welcome. Check the website for location of in-person meetings or instructions to join virtually.

The Annual Meeting with elections is held no later than the end of April of each year, on a date to be fixed by the Board of Directors.

Construction and Maintenance

Design has been completed. Construction is expected to begin in April or May of 2024 and should take about six months to complete.
Project schedule under development
Project design continues. Construction is anticipated to begin in March of 2025 and take a year and a half to complete.

Four Development Teams Invited to Submit Proposals to Develop Broadway Corridor Affordable Housing by Portland Housing Bureau

After successfully submitting qualifications for the development of 200-250 affordable homes at Broadway Corridor, Parcel 4A, these teams will compete for an award of up to $60 million in resources from the Portland Housing Bureau.
