St. Johns is a historic neighborhood located in North Portland, at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia rivers. It is home to Cathedral Park and the picturesque St. Johns Bridge.
The M-BOS invites development partners to submit proposals for affordable rental and homeowner housing to meet Portland’s goals for the Metro Housing Bond and N/NE Neighborhood Housing Strategy. Proposals will be accepted for four sites: two owned by PHB, one by Kaiser Permanente and one by Metro.
St. Johns Neighborhood Association Board Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month. These meetings are always open to the public.
St. Johns Neighborhood Association Annual Meeting with elections is held on the second Monday of October. This meeting is open to the public.
On Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022 Kenton and St. Johns neighborhood residents can drop off large and hard-to-dispose of items from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Roosevelt High School.

The Portland Housing Bureau (PHB) has released a Metro Bond + TIF Opportunity Solicitation to provide up to $39.8 million in capital funding from the Metro Regional Housing Bond and Tax Increment Financing from the Interstate Corridor Urban Renewal Area (ICURA) for affordable housing development.
