Creston-Kenilworth

The neighborhood, platted in 1889, is named after Sir Walter Scott's 1821 novel Kenilworth, a romantic novel set in Elizabethan England. Many of the streets in this close-in neighborhood took their names from this novel and other novels by Scott.

General Meetings The Creston-Kenilworth Neighborhood Association is recruiting volunteers to advocate for neighborhood priorities and organize community events like the Parks & Recreation Summer Free for All event in 2025, in partnership with Reed Neighborhood Association. View the CKNA website and subscribe to the newsletter to receive updates and announcements. A board election is planned to take place at the Annual Meeting in June.
Board Meetings Creston-Kenilworth Neighborhood Association Board meets on the 4th Monday of every month, 6:00 - 7:30 pm, at Kenilworth Presbyterian Church, 4028 SE 34th Ave. Confirm meeting details on the website. Meetings are open to the public. Everyone is welcome.
