Portland City Council today adopted a proposal by Mayor Wilson and Councilor Zimmerman to bring tax relief to thousands of small businesses. The Council vote raises the threshold for the city’s business tax from $50,000 to $75,000 in 2026 and to $100,000 in 2027.

The Public Works Committee meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m.
The City Life Committee meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m.
The Finance and Governance Committee of the Whole meets the first, second, and fourth Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. and the third Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m.
