Weekly campsite report: Nov. 8-14, 2021

From Nov. 8-14, the Homelessness and Urban Camping Impact Reduction Program:

• Received 834 new campsite reports, including 122 reports of people living in vehicles
• Received reports about 214 active campsites, accounting for duplicate reports about the same locations
• Assessed approximately 346 campsites, engaging with people living there, collecting garbage and biohazardous materials, and coordinating with service providers
• Cleaned 4 campsites, removing only identified garbage and biohazardous materials
• Removed 6 campsites that posed a risk to health and safety, safely storing campers' personal property

The Impact Reduction Team cleaned the following sites:

Northeast Portland

The Impact Reduction Team cleaned the following sites:

• NE 128th and Glisan

• I-205 Multi-Use Path near Killingsworth

Southeast Portland

The Impact Reduction Team cleaned the following sites:

• SE 3rd between Ash and Ankeny
• Springwater Corridor Trail under Sellwood bridge
• SE 26th and Raymond

The Impact Reduction Team cleaned and removed the following sites:

• SE 82nd and Crystal Springs
• SE 96th and Cora
• SE 29th and Waverleigh
• Foster Floodplain (Middle Section and West End)

Based on health and safety criteria, the following locations have been posted for removal:

• Foster Floodplain
• Brookside
• SE Oak and SE 37-39
• SE Belmont from MLK to Water
• SE Morrison from MLK to Water
• I-205 Multi-Use Path and SE Powell
• Sunnyside School
• SE 31^st and Stephens
• SE 26^th and Raymond
• I-205 and SE Powell (southbound on-ramp)

Southwest Portland

The Impact Reduction Team cleaned the following sites:

• Burnside Bridge (near SW 1^st/2^nd)

Northwest Portland

The Impact Reduction Team cleaned the following sites:
