First Friday PDX | Ongoing

Located in Portland's vibrant East Side Arts District, the First Friday Art Walk takes place on the first Friday evening of every month, year-round. Offering a gateway into Portland's thriving arts culture, First Friday PDX includes more than 23 independent galleries, shops, and studios and a street exhibition from April to October. Portland Bloom Tour | Director Park | May 21 - June 8

Portland is coming to life with the annual Bloom Tour, a stunning showcase of floral artistry and creativity! Experience breathtaking floral and art installations created by local florists and artists in collaboration with downtown retailers. Signature events include a botanical fashion show, a starry night wine walk, and an aerial dance performance. Explore the city, discover vibrant storefront displays, interactive floral creations, and immersive art, all designed to celebrate the beauty of spring and support Portland's small businesses.

The Rose Festival has inspired Portland to gather and celebrate for 119 years, demonstrating how our community can carry on traditions and celebrate unity. Color Our City | Portland Art Museum | July 11, 2026

Help paint the plaza in front of the Portland Art Museum! Join the fun as we transform a stretch of Southwest Madison Street into a new pedestrian plaza filled with art. British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori, known for his colorful, "joy-led" design philosophy, has designed a monumental work of asphalt art to fill the street. Sign up for the painting party. Portland Pride Festival | July 18 - 19, 2026

The Pride Festival features a weekend fair at Tom McCall Waterfront Park and an epic, joyous parade winding through downtown Portland. With live music, food, drinks, nonprofit information booths and other vendors lining the Willamette River, the festival is a great place to gather, mingle, celebrate gay pride, and connect with local LGBTQIA+ groups.
