You’re invited to watch a special swearing-in ceremony!
Over the last two years, City of Portland employees have dedicated themselves to prepare Portlanders to vote in districts, implement ranked-choice voting, and prepare our city government to welcome a mayor, auditor, and 12 new city councilors.
We are now one step closer to fulfilling the changes Portlanders entrusted to us and transitioning the City of Portland to a new form of government approved by voters. Join us for a swearing-in ceremony to officially welcome the 14 newly elected officials before their first city council meeting on Jan. 2, 2025.
The program includes a performance from the Roosevelt High School jazz band.
