Late Commissioner Nick Fish’s City Council seat is currently vacant. Elections will determine who will fill this seat and serve the remainder of Commissioner Fish’s term, which lasts through 2022.
On May 19, 2020, a primary election was held for Commissioner Fish’s seat. Because no candidate received over 50 percent of the vote, the new Commissioner will be determined in a run-off election on Aug. 11, 2020. This new Commissioner will take office in early September 2020.
