Wildfire can be catastrophic. The risk in Portland is growing as the climate warms up. Sign up for a wildfire expert to come to your home and do a Wildland-Urban Interface Home Assessment (WUI). You’ll get practical tips on how to create defensible space and make your home more fire-resistant.

Wildfires will happen. Is your home ready? Request a Wildland-Urban Interface Home Assessment (WUI). A wildfire expert will come to your home and give you specific suggestions on how to create defensible space, make your home more fire-resistant, and reduce your risk.

For residents interested in receiving a WUI Home Assessment - please fill out our online form below. Requests must be received at least 2 weeks before the preferred visit date. Upon receipt of your request, an assessment coordinator will contact you by phone and/or e-mail to confirm your request.
