Station 23 – Brooklyn
Station 23 can be found on the corner of SE Gideon and SE 13th Place. The current Fire Station 23 was built in 1961 and served as the Fire Bureau's training center until July of 1986. The station shares property with PF&R’s Logistics Complex and the Fire Marshal’s Office. It also has an old training tower on the property which was built in the depression era and serves as a reminder of the property’s history and a landmark for all who travel through Southeast Portland. Station 23 proudly serves the Brooklyn, Hosford-Abernethy and Ladd’s Addition neighborhoods.
