Station 18 – Multnomah Village
Station 18 has been serving the far southwest Portland neighborhoods since 1951. In 1913 Engine 18 was Portland Fire and Rescue’s first gas-powered fire engine. Station 18 has been at its current location since 1961 where the Engine, Heavy Squad and Brush Units serve the Marshall Park, Markham, West Portland Park, Multnomah, Ash Creek, Crestwood and Maplewood neighborhoods. The crews at Station 18 are trained up to respond on all of their apparatus and sometimes respond with two, as needed or requested for incidents throughout west Portland, Lake Oswego, and Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue’s district.
