Fire Station 10 – Burlingame
Fire Station 10 is located at 451 S.W. Taylor’s Ferry Road and was dedicated in April 1985. In recent history Station 10 has housed Engine 10, Water Tender 10, Rehab 10, and Air Unit 10. In August 2014 the complement of apparatus changed and now consists of Truck 10, Engine 10R (reserve apparatus), and Air Unit 10R (reserve apparatus). The members of Station 10 serve Southwest Portland, from their base in the Burlingame neighborhood. Several noteworthy landmarks in the area are Lewis & Clark College, Willamette Park, and the Sellwood Bridge. Station 10 borders the Lake Oswego Fire District and provides mutual aid assistance to them when requested. Station 10 is affectionately called the dragon company for the notable steel “fire dragon” artwork on the exterior of the fire station.
