The Fire Marshal's Office is transitioning to a digital and electronic plan review process, using the ProjectDox platform for construction permits only. The system eliminates the need for paper plan submissions, allowing applicants to upload, manage, and revise project documents online 24/7. Applicants will be notified when the system is Live. The Plan Review office of Portland Fire & Rescue’s Prevention Division works with the City of Portland’s Bureau of Development Services on commercial and residential subdivisions, design review, annexations, rezoning, conditional use permits, staff level permits, variance requests and verifies compliance of non-building agreements.
