PF&R responded to an apartment fire in NE Portland in the mid-morning hours of Monday October 12, 2026. A second alarm was requested with heavy fire impinging on a neighboring structure. The fire was extinguished with no reported injuries. Fire cause under investigation.

PF&R respond to 2 significant fires in a short time interval. An apartment fire with an active dropped powerline, a vehicle aflame leaking fuel, and difficult attic fire occurred in the evening in the Hazelwood Neighborhood followed by a 2nd alarm fire in an industrial setting in the early morning.

Portland Fire responded to tanker truck on Hayden Island with an active leak of Sulfuric Acid.
