Mayor Keith Wilson appoints Brenda Alvarado as the City of Portland’s first immigrant affairs lead

Alvarado brings extensive experience from the Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition and two congressional offices. Her new role, based in the mayor’s office, is designed to strengthen City’s support of immigrant communities, build partnerships, and drive inclusive initiatives.
