The Bureau of Development Services is inviting commercial permitting customers to a walkthrough demonstration of its soon-to-be-implemented plan review technology. An updated plan review process and technology will be rolled out in May 2024. Learn more about these updates.

Free Compost Days

Every fall PBOT composts over 5,000 tons of leaves collected annually through the city's Leaf Day program. This effort helps keep streets safe by preventing clogged storm drains, flooded intersections, and slippery roads. This spring, we have so much we’re giving it away for free!

New to Portland Ride: East Neighborhoods

Are you new to Portland, or new to riding a bicycle? Join us on this group ride to explore ways to get around by bicycle in East Portland neighborhoods! The ride is 7.5 miles long, and will be at a mellow pace. Free and open to everyone.
