- Developed and passed The Rose Lane Project with a deep racial justice lens, creating dedicated bus and bike-only lanes across Portland, decreasing traffic congestion and encouraging increased commuting via public transit/bike. OPB Coverage.
- Alongside Albina Vision and community partners, ended the City’s support of the I-5 Rose Quarter Project after ODOT’s failure to respond to community requests and provide appropriate restorative justice measures. KOIN Coverage, Mercury Coverage.
- Led the passage of Fixing Our Streets 2, Portland’s local gas tax that funds needed safety and maintenance projects on Portland’s streets and sidewalks.
- Passed Central City in Motion to make downtown Portland easier and safer to navigate for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders.
- Completed 3 Central City in Motion projects.
- Issued over 600 permits and created over 110 miles of protected greenways.
- Launched PDX WAV, a new program which makes reliable, safe vehicle-for-hire services more easily accessible to people using mobility devices.
- Launched Adaptive BIKETOWN to increase biking access for Portlanders with disabilities.
- Led BIKETOWN in going completely electric with their fleet and expanding significantly into East Portland, without a public subsidy

- Invested $60 million in our High Crash Network infrastructure; with $8 million invested in East Portland and another $13.6 million currently under construction.
- Created the Musicians Loading Zone Permit pilot program. Vortex Coverage.
- Directed the bureau to create a first of its kind public body of experts and interested residents—the Pricing Options for Equitable Mobility Task Force—to explore if and how transportation pricing strategies can be used in Portland to advance the values of carbon and congestion reduction, equitable mobility, and transportation justice.
- Supported creation of and led Council adoption of Ped PDX, Portland’s comprehensive pedestrian master plan.
- Launched a second e-scooter pilot program with new rules that improve public safety, ensure service to East Portland, provide funding for safety improvements, and prioritize accessibility through the new seated e-scooters in our fleet.
- Celebrated the 50th Sunday Parkways event.
- Cut the ribbon on two major street transformations: Halsey-Weidler and Foster Road.
- Broke ground on the Earl Blumenauer Bike and Pedestrian Bridge.
- Created Portland’s newest swimming facility on the Willamette River, the Duckworth Dock. Formerly under Oregon Marine Board restrictions, led the effort to remove those restrictions and hand full operations to the Portland Bureau of Transportation that then partnered with Human Access Project to make it a swimming facility. - Led implementation of Safe Streets and Healthy Business permits to respond to COVID-19 crisis.
- Placed the Portland Film Office on a sustainable funding path by adding a film surcharge to temporary street use park use permits.
- Completed SE 122nd Ave. Bridge over Johnson Creek and Leach Botanical Garden. Fish friendly and important North/South connecter for East Portland and Happy Valley.
- Led on the adoption of Southwest In Motion (SWIM) and Northwest In Motion (NWIM), Portland’s comprehensive multi-modal plans tailored to the unique characteristics of these geographical areas.
- Implemented the Grade and Gravel program that for the first time in Portland’s history brings maintenance resources to unimproved right of way throughout the city.
- Developed and passed the Bicycle Parking Code Update that created new requirements in the zoning code to ensure new development and major redevelopment provides adequate, secure, and convenient short- and long-term bicycle parking.
- Helped lead and craft an anti-displacement workplan for the Southwest Corridor Light Rail Project—“SW Equitable Development Strategy.”
- Fought back against the legislature’s attempt to pass industry-written statewide legislation that would have eliminated Portland’s ability to regulate TNCs. WW Coverage.
- Created the TNC Drivers Advisory Committee to focus on issues impacting TNC drivers and serve as a forum where drivers can express issues, concerns, and suggestions about the evolving industry.
