Information
- Exhibited and presented over 100 artists and organizations and produced 18 events that brought over 2500 people to City Hall.
- Supported significant changes made by to RACC’s to its General Operating Support program—addressing the historic disparity of its existing funding model. Commissioner Eudaly changed the structure of arts funding and redistributed resources in a manner that directly benefits Portland’s small and midsized arts organizations, increased the diversity of organizations and patrons served, and better reflected our vibrant arts and culture landscape. - Worked closely with Commissioner Fish and his team to update the City’s Public Art Code in July 2019. This update expanded the list of allowed uses for Percent for Art dollars, including allowing creative space and artists-in-residence, prioritized underserved communities’ access to art, and clarified responsibilities between the City and RACC. - Co-hosted 7 arts events in City Hall in 2019 including the Portland Comic Book Month Celebration, Street Books presents: A Celebration of the Book, and We Had Jazz: Carl Henniger Photo Exhibit.
- Celebrated the 15th anniversary of the Portland-Bologna Sister City relationship by bringing “Italian Excellence: Illustrations for Gianni Rodari” to the Portland Art Museum.
- 2017: 11 events, including Dead Moon Night which brought over 1000 people to City Hall for a once in a lifetime opportunity, and the Friends of Noise Concert.
- 2018: 20 events, including George Thorn Day and the Dreamers Art Exhibit.
- 2019: 19 events, including Isaka Sahmsud-Din Day and Totally East: Life in East Germany Exhibit
