Ombudsman recommends Urban Forestry revisit fees and regulations governing certain development permit reviews

After a complaint, the Ombudsman investigated how Urban Forestry reviews some development permits for compliance with street tree planting standards. In December, the Ombudsman sent a memo to Parks Director Adena Long identifying concerns with the review fee and the clarity of City Code provisions.

Traffic Advisory: Landslide leads PBOT to close NW Cornell Road, asking the public to stay away, making two road closures on key NW Portland route

NW Cornell Road is CLOSED east of the Bird Alliance of Oregon, for a landslide with downed trees and power lines between the tunnels

Construction started in Spring 2024. This project to help restore Johnson Creek is now complete.
Planning and design started in fall 2024; construction expected to begin Spring 2028
