Calling all prospective City of Portland Candidates!
The City Elections Office is hosting candidate learning sessions in May and June. Whether you're a seasoned campaigner or a newcomer, these sessions will help you understand the details of running for city office.
Three sessions will take place at the times and locations listed below:
- Thursday, May 30, 2024 — 1-3:30pm (Online)
- Tuesday, June 4, 2024 — 6-8pm (3839 NE 122nd Ave)
- Saturday, June 8, 2024 — 11:30am-3pm (705 N Killingsworth St)

The in-person sessions will include refreshments and our extended session on Saturday will include some light tabling where you can get some extra resources and directly ask the experts some additional questions. Sessions will include elections staff from the City, County, and State in order to give you the comprehensive information that you need to run for office.
