TO THE COUNCIL:

Minutes of the Portland City Council meetings for April 3-25, 2024 have been completed and are on file with the Auditor’s Office. The draft minutes are available for review in Efiles.

Council meeting minutes include the disposition agenda, which documents the actions Council takes on each agenda item. The minutes also include the closed caption file, a speaker list, and audio files (mp3) for each meeting.

Official meeting minutes are prepared by Council Clerk staff. Meeting minutes are a record of each meeting which includes date and time of meeting, members present, motions, proposals, resolutions, orders, ordinances and measures proposed and their disposition, and results of votes. Meeting minutes consist of closed caption files, speaker lists, and audio files of the meeting (mp3).

There is no financial impact.

Community Impacts and Community Involvement

Council Meeting minutes document the official actions of Council proceedings and are of interest citywide and regionally. The public is not involved in preparing the minutes. The public has access to all Council Meeting minutes approved by Council.
