Proclaim results of the Municipal Nonpartisan Primary Election on Measure 26-245: Renew Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax for Street Repair, Maintenance, Safety
Whereas, at the Municipal Nonpartisan Primary Election held on May 21, 2024, a measure proposed to voters by City Council referral with the ballot title caption, “Renew Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax for Street Repair, Maintenance, Safety,” and such measure was designated on the ballot as Measure 26-245, and according to the official canvas 126,012 votes were cast in favor of said measure, and 48,010 were cast against said measure, now, therefore, it is hereby
Proclaimed by the undersigned Mayor of the City of Portland, that the measure with the ballot title caption, “Renew Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax for Street Repair, Maintenance, Safety,” has been enacted and is in effect and operative as provided in the measure.
