Proclaim results of the Municipal Non-partisan Special Election on Measure 26-240: Renew Portland Children's Levy

Whereas, at the Municipal Non-Partisan Special Election held on May 16, 2023, a measure proposed to voters by City Council referral with the ballot title caption, “Renew Portland Children's Levy investment for five years,” and such measure was designated on the ballot as Measure 26-240, and according to the official canvas 97,984 votes were cast in favor of said measure, and 40,104 were cast against said measure, now, therefore, it is hereby

Proclaimed by the undersigned Mayor of the City of Portland, that the measure with the ballot title caption, “Renew Portland Children's Levy investment for five years,” has been enacted and is in effect and operative as provided in the measure.
