Proclaim results of the 2024 Municipal Nonpartisan General Election on Measure 26-252: Amends Charter: Deletes vague, archaic and inconsistent language

Whereas, at the Municipal Nonpartisan General Election held on November 5, 2024, a measure proposed to voters by City Charter Commission referral with the ballot title caption, “Amends Charter: Deletes vague, archaic and inconsistent language,” and such measure was designated on the ballot as Measure 26-252, and according to the official canvas 262,703 votes were cast in favor of said measure, and 39,103 were cast against said measure, now, therefore, it is hereby

Proclaimed by the undersigned Mayor of the City of Portland, that the measure with the ballot title caption, “Amends Charter: Deletes vague, archaic and inconsistent language,” has been enacted and is in effect and operative as provided in the measure.
