Proclaim results of the Municipal Non-partisan General Election on Measure 26-228: Amends Charter: Changes Portland's government structure and process for electing city officials

Whereas, at the Municipal Non-Partisan General Election held on November 8, 2022, a measure proposed to voters by City Charter Commission referral with the ballot title caption, “Amends Charter: Changes Portland's government structure and process for electing city officials,” and such measure was designated on the ballot as Measure 26-228, and according to the official canvas 164,651 votes were cast in favor of said measure, and 118,829 were cast against said measure, now, therefore, it is hereby

Proclaimed by the undersigned Mayor of the City of Portland, that the measure with the ballot title caption, “Amends Charter: Changes Portland's government structure and process for electing city officials,” has been enacted and is in effect and operative as provided in the measure.
