2025 Steve Lowenstein Trust Award

The Steve Lowenstein Trust Award was created to honor individuals who make an exemplary personal sacrifice and commitment to make a significant difference in improving the quality of life for the most distressed and vulnerable populations in the City of Portland.

The Steve Lowenstein Trust is honored to announce the 34th Annual Award to Alena "Leni" Tupper, Founder and Director of the CLEAR Clinic in Portland, Oregon. A non-profit collective of legal workers.

Leni and her diverse team are dedicated to delivering much needed services to the most underserved communities. 

She is very humble, yet a tenacious advocate. She has been unwavering in her commitment to using the law as a tool for social justice.

As an attorney and former Portland Community College Paralegal Program Director, recognizes the inherent inequities and barriers of the legal system.

The Board of Directors of the Steve Lowenstein Trust are honored to give this award to Alena "Leni" Tupper for her extraordinary dedication and commitment.
