Re:       Assignment of City Bureaus, Programming and Liaison duties

Pursuant to Section 2-302 of the Charter of the City of Portland, Oregon, effective July 1, 2024, I am reassigning all City bureaus and programs to report to and operate under my authority as Commissioner-in-Charge in order to prepare for the transition to the new form of government.

Council members will remain in their liaison roles as follows:

  • Fair & Moral Claims Committee (with Commissioner Mapps)

  • Local Public Safety Coordinating Council (Voting member. Also serving with Commissioner Mapps)
