This event takes place during regular programming at Sellwood Community House. This is a community space where young families are present, children are at play and adults of all ages take classes and volunteer. The event will be held in the lobby on the main floor; SCH staff asks that anyone wishing to see the rest of the building ask staff for a guided tour.

Sellwood Community House has been welcoming the public through its doors since 1910, first as a YMCA, then as a Portland Parks and Recreation community center for almost 100 years. SCH has been a nonprofit community center since 2019, providing daily early childhood and after school programs for 200 families, ongoing classes and programs for families, teens + tweens and adults and seniors and community events for all ages. Their mission is to be a transformative "third place" that fosters deep connections, supports mental and physical health and inspires collaboration across generations.

Councilor Green is partnering with Sellwood Community House to host events. Events with Councilor Green in community settings will mostly be unstructured for meeting with neighbors, community members, and the councilor. On select dates, there will be a few reservation-only time slots for a portion of the event. The Sellwood Community House lobby space is provided at no cost for Councilor Green and the other District 4 councilors to meet with their constituents. The public is invited.
