The OCPA independently investigates sworn employees and supervisors thereof within the Portland Police Bureau.

POIC provides emergency support to families and individuals impacted by community violence through intervention, prevention, and interruption.

Ceasefire works with individuals who may be at the highest risk of involvement in gun violence. Through outreach, services, and community partnerships, Ceasefire connects individuals to support and opportunities that help prevent violence and promote safer pathways.

Rose City Self-Defense empowers the Portland community, including girls, women and the LGBTQ+ community, with a focus on engaging communities of color, people with disabilities, folks with unstable housing, as well as safety for sex workers. All programming is free.

The Safe Blocks Program provides no-cost trainings and services to Portlanders. Their trainings range in topics from personal safety to public safety resources to creating fun and safe spaces. 503-823-4064

The Cupcake Girls provides confidential support to those involved in the sex industry, as well as trauma-informed outreach, advocacy, holistic resources, and referral services to provide prevention and aftercare to those affected by sex trafficking. 207-200-8094

The Oregon Health Plan (OHP) is Oregon's medical assistance program. It provides health care coverage for people from all walks of life. This includes working families, children, pregnant adults, single adults and seniors.

Catholic Charities' Homeless Services team removes barriers to finding permanent housing and wraps clients in a suite of supportive services as they work to re-establish their stability and independence. (971) 222-1880

A group of folks doing general street support, clothing swaps, zine fairs, migra whistle kits, and other community support that pivots based on current community needs.

Once a month two hundred or more people from all walks of life gather at the commons in the center of our town. They bring everything from jewelry to firewood to give away, and take whatever they want. There are booths offering bicycle repair, hairstyling, even tarot readings. No money changes hands, no one haggles over the comparative worth of items or services, nobody is ashamed about being in need.
