The Mayor's proposed budget will be released April 20, and Councilor Pirtle-Guiney wants to hear from you!
This is not the final budget, and Council is just getting started with the bulk of its work. As Council gets ready to hold work sessions with all the City's service areas, Councilor Pirtle-Guiney wants to know where you see the need for changes and improvements to the proposal that will be before the body. If you live, work, play, pray or study in District 2, join her at Mayfly Taproom & Bottle Shop in Kenton for a budget conversation on Tuesday, April 21 — the day after the proposed budget drops — from 6:00 to 7:30. She'll be joined by pop-up Bajala for some amazing food, and as always, her office will provide snacks for the table, coloring books for the kiddos, and resources for navigating your local government. Mayfly is open to families of all ages until 9 p.m. Keep your eye out for the Mayor's proposal, coming soon, and she'll see you there!
